My approach

I am a specialist clinical psychologist with more than 10 years’ experience working in psychology and mental health.

My clients describe me as warm, caring and professional. I work flexibly to tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, and create a safe space to make sense of your difficulties.

I work with people who struggle with a range of difficulties. These include mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, as well as difficulties relating to everyday life including work stress, relationship and communication problems, adjustment to life changes, bereavement and other losses, and sleep disturbance.

My specialist area of expertise is working with people who have experienced trauma (such as accidents, assaults, abuse and neglect), and who struggle with distressing memories, thoughts and feelings relating to these experiences.

I work part time at a NHS trauma service supporting people who suffer the effects of severe trauma, such as childhood abuse or neglect, domestic violence, torture, trafficking and war-related trauma.

I also conduct witness interviews with children who have disclosed sexual abuse, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police.

I have expertise in medico-legal work relating to trauma and complete medico-legal assessments and reports for asylum, personal injury and compensation cases.
