I recognise that choosing to go to therapy can be a daunting and unnerving experience. I welcome you as you are and am ready to meet you where you are. My integrative training allows me to be flexible and find an approach most suited to you and what you bring to our sessions.
I am fully trained to work with you by exclusively talking – if this feels most comfortable to you. However, I can also support you to tap into your own creative potential using art materials and the imagination to find new possibilities and hope in making changes to the way you live. You do not need to have any experience with art or be ‘good’ at it! We use the art as a communication and discovery tool and I will guide you. Engaging with creativity can help you work through fears, negative thought patterns and feelings that might be keeping you stuck.
Whether we work with art materials or not, together we can explore and harvest the messages your thinking and emotional patterns are waiting to teach you. Your difficulties do not have to be your way of life and they do not have to define you. You are worth so much more than your worries and I would love to join you in the journey of discovering who you are and what you are capable of!
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental and confidential space for you to express your experience and be heard. I offer a lower-cost initial session so that you can get a feel for me and how we might work together before deciding whether it is the right fit for you.
