My approach

I am a UKCP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with individuals – adults (including the elderly) and adolescents – and couples on short-term and longer-term contracts for a wide variety of issues.

As my client I would offer you a safe, boundaried space. With compassion, we may explore the difficulties that have brought you to therapy, and how they are impacting your life to prevent you from living it as you wish.

I have developed a flexible way of working as an integrative psychotherapist from a transpersonal overview using CBT techniques, meditations and guided imagery as appropriate.

The transpersonal theoretical perspective is a holistic one. It recognises that human beings are an interdependent mix of mind, body and spirit.

I believe that as individuals we are most successful and content when operating with insight based on self-knowledge – promoting a sense of belonging to a greater whole.
