My approach

I am a fully qualified CBT/EMDR integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist. My approach is friendly and professional. Through listening to your story and the issues you want to bring, and agreeing a goal to work on together, we can work through your negative emotions to find a positive way forward. I use the following methods in my practice:

  • cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) – identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours
  • eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) – a technique that helps process trauma and distressing experiences
  • hypnotherapy – supporting change through deep relaxation and suggestion
  • psychodynamic and humanistic therapy – exploring the roots of emotional patterns and building self-understanding
  • parts work, Gestalt and creative approaches – helping you engage with different aspects of yourself
  • solution-focused therapy – identifying strengths and practical steps forward
