My approach

My approach is warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I aim to create a safe, respectful space where clients can feel listened to, understood and supported to make sense of their difficulties.

I draw on evidence-based psychological therapies and tailor the work to each person’s needs, goals and circumstances. Together, we may explore current difficulties, earlier experiences, relationships, patterns of thinking and feeling, and practical strategies for change.

I work at a pace that feels manageable, helping clients build greater understanding, self-compassion and confidence, while developing tools to cope with distress and move towards meaningful change.

Training, qualifications and experience

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and Registered EuroPsy Psychologist.

I hold a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, both from King’s College London.

I have extensive experience in the NHS and private practice, and have trained and worked across a range of specialist inpatient and community services with adults, older adults, parents and babies, perinatal clients and young people.

I have particular experience supporting people during pregnancy, birth, fertility treatment, the postnatal period, and experiences of perinatal loss. I also work with neurodivergent clients, including people with ADHD and autism, and with people experiencing complex psychological difficulties.

I have carried out research, delivered teaching and provided supervision to junior colleagues.

I have undertaken further specialist training, including perinatal clinical psychology training, and I am an accredited Triple P Positive Parenting Programme provider.
