My approach

In your therapy session you are invited to share yourself and the problems you are experiencing. I offer a space where you are free to talk – and feel – things through.

In our sessions, I let you take the lead on what you want to talk about, but I offer observations, questions, reflections. Our aim is to get to know you and the problems you are experiencing better, and find a way towards meaningful change.

My approach is psychodynamic – meaning I invite you to consider how unconscious processes are impacting your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I can also offer CBT tools, where applicable, to support you in the here-and-now.

I have particular experience of working with artists, performers and creatives. There is additionally opportunity for you to engage in creative work in sessions (or alongside sessions). Working creatively can bring greater perspective and help you reflect deeply. It can help you shift understanding and become unstuck.

I offer open-ended or short-term therapy.
