My approach
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I aim to help you come to an understanding of how your unconscious and past experiences play a part in your current relationships – looking at how this influences how you interact with the world around you.
I work with adults from a range of different backgrounds with varying mental health issues. I offer a safe and confidential space for you to express how you really feel, without judgement.
The therapy I offer is open-ended, with the opportunity to share your experiences and feelings on a once-per-week basis.
I believe in offering an open and empathetic environment for you to bring whatever it is that is troubling you – whether that’s issues you may be having with feelings such as lowered self-worth or confidence, or more deep-rooted feelings of depression or anxiety.
Training, qualifications and experience
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
I qualified in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at WPF Therapy, accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
I have experience in a psychiatric setting as well as in my private practice.
