My approach

I work primarily with adults, including young adults, from all backgrounds. I have a particular focus on supporting gay men and the broader LGBTQ+ community, providing a safe, affirming space to explore issues related to identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing.

I welcome clients who are navigating life transitions or mental health challenges, or seeking personal growth. My practice is inclusive and culturally sensitive, and I aim to create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

When you come to therapy with me, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental and confidential space where you are free to be yourself. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process – we work together to understand what’s going on for you, exploring both your current challenges and the deeper patterns that might be influencing your thoughts and feelings.

I take an integrative approach, tailoring the work to suit your unique needs and goals. This might mean exploring past experiences to gain insight, developing self-compassion, or learning practical strategies to manage difficult emotions. I’m here to support you at your own pace, offering empathy, honesty and respect throughout our work together.

Training, qualifications and experience

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Additionally, I am qualified with Level 2 and Level 3 Counselling Skills certificates.

My integrative training draws on psychodynamic, person-centred and compassion-focused approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs.

My clinical experience includes supporting clients experiencing suicidal ideation at a specialist organisation, as well as working with individuals facing a range of challenges including drug addiction, identity, chemsex, menopause, eating disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

I’ve worked with clients from all backgrounds, including women and the LGBTQ+ community. These roles have deepened my understanding of complex mental health issues and strengthened my commitment to providing safe, affirming therapeutic spaces.

Professional affiliations

I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Code of ethics

I adhere to BACP’s ethical framework for the counselling professions.
