My approach
I provide counselling that is welcoming and inclusive, which helps people heal and make the changes they want to see in their lives. I have worked in counselling services for LGBTQ+ communities, carers and people with complex mental health needs.
I trained at the Metanoia Institute in person-centred pluralistic counselling. Being person-centred means I believe you know best what you need. I will endeavour to understand your experience so that we can stand side by side as you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
Working pluralistically means I believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ in therapy. I will work with you to co-create a therapeutic space that feels safe and supportive, including the option to work creatively with sand tray, writing or drawing if you’d like to.
