My approach

My approach is to be genuine from the outset and to offer an open approach that informs people how and who I am. I will provide a safe and supportive space, where people can discuss and explore aspects of who they are and their personal issues and concerns confidentially. They will be able to reflect upon their concerns and troubling thoughts without fear of judgement or direction.

I’m a qualified counsellor and children and young people (CYP) therapist with a considerable range of experience obtained from my time working with children, young people and families. I use this experience alongside my training as a person-centred and humanistic counsellor to work with clients who wish to address concerns around their self-worth and intrusive or negative thoughts.

There are numerous reasons for seeking counselling and psychotherapy. For each person there is a unique story to be heard and shared. Counselling and therapy is the process and space where these are explored, where the person is able to resolve problematic behaviours, beliefs and feelings which impact the body and mind.
