As a psychotherapist specialising in trauma, anxiety and transitions, my approach is informed by both professional expertise and personal experience. Growing up in a disadvantaged background, I intimately recognise the challenges that individuals from similar circumstances may face.
I specialise in a broad spectrum of issues (see list above).
I create a safe space for exploration and effective navigation of challenges, tailoring my approach for diverse populations, including:
- children with learning difficulties
- individuals in care
- those facing home challenges
My commitment is to provide a comprehensive and personalised therapeutic experience, ensuring clients feel supported on their journey to healing and growth. I am deeply committed to providing professional and tailored support to every individual.
I offer a comprehensive therapeutic approach that incorporates play, art and games to facilitate creative expression and emotional exploration. This is especially beneficial for children.
Additionally, I provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as a targeted problem-solving approach focusing on self-awareness and personal responsibility.
In addition to traditional therapy, I offer ‘walk and talk’ sessions, recognising the need for a dynamic and open environment.
My sessions are tailored to individual needs, promoting a comprehensive and personalised therapeutic experience.
Training, qualifications and experience
I have successfully earned a Master’s degree in psychotherapy and am currently completing a doctoral programme in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
My experience spans working with children, adolescents and young adults, with a specialisation in CBT for couples.
I’ve successfully assisted individuals dealing with an array of challenges. This includes learning difficulties, intricate family dynamics and providing support to young offenders.
I’m a registered psychotherapist and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
